STRAWBERRY FEAST – Raised embroidery kit
The embroidery design measures 10cm x 13cm wide (4” x 5 1/8”).
** Raised Embroidery, Level 2 **
This project is perfect if you are confident with basic stitches and have only little or no experience with raised embroidery. This project is embroidered, using mostly common embroidery stitches. The raised effects are created using basic techniques such as felt padding, simple wiring and picots.
The detailed, fully illustrated instructions will help guide you step by step through the project.
The embroidery is worked onto natural coloured linen using stranded silk threads. Layers of felt is used to create the plump strawberries and little flowers are semi-detached with fluffy Ghiordes knot centres. Detached, wired leaves add dimension to the foliage.
